I make my living writing poems in the park. A dream sentence I never thought possible, but it’s true! For four years years now I’ve brought my typewriter to different spots throughout the city with a sign reading ask me for a poem. I’ve heard amazing stories, met thousands of strangers, and connected with the city in ways I could have never imagined. I’ve been welcomed to bring poetry into event spaces produced by Michael Kors, Fabletics, Bloomingdales, and more. I dream of compiling a selection of personal poems to be published in a collection someday.
